The purple cow is a disguise used by Robbie Rotten in the episode Robbie's Greatest Misses.
It is coloured reminiscent of the cows on the billboard hiding the entrance to Robbie's Lair.
Selection process
In the Greatest Misses episode, the usual disguise selection process is skipped.
Robbie walks towards the right-hand side of the screen as if about to go through the normal process. He then quickly turns and walks straight to the last chamber of the disguise machine to where the purple cow costume is, proclaiming it to be "perfect!".
