Known as Maggi Mjói in Icelandic, Jives is a character that appeared in [[Áfram Latibær]], [[Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ]], and [[Jól í Latabæ]].
Maggi Mjói is a character that appeared in both of the icelandic plays, Áfram Latibær and Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ. In the first play, he is portrayed as a sloppy, skinny, dispirited, and perhaps arrogant boy. But when he meets Íþróttaálfurinn (Sportacus), he discovers that he needs to eat good stuff to grow strong, healthy and happy. In the second play, Maggi appears again, but now as a strong, healthy, happy and friendly boy and now he has some "cool" mannerisms (that were not shown in the first play).

But when he meets [[Íþróttaálfurinn]] (Sportacus), he discovers that he needs to eat other types of food to grow strong, healthy and happy.

Áfram Latibær

In the first play, Jives is portrayed as a sloppy, skinny, dispirited, and perhaps arrogant boy. He refuses to eat anything besides coco puffs, and thus doesn't have much energy. But when he meets Íþróttaálfurinn (Sportacus), he discovers that he needs to eat other types of food to grow strong, healthy and happy.
