Haunted Castle is the 39th episode of the series and the 5th episode of the 2nd season. It premiered October 24th, 2006.

Premise

The Mayor warns the kids to stay away from an old, unsafe castle but Trixie ignores the warning and convinces the kids to join her inside. Meanwhile, Robbie poses as a ghost to scare the kids into not playing anymore. The kids get trapped in the falling castle and Sportacus arrives to save the day. Trixie admits what she did and the kids learn a valuable lesson about following the rules.

Plot synopsis

Prologue

Sportacus is about to take a bite out of an apple when he hears a strange hooting sound. He searches around trying to find it with no luck. He then hears the sound coming from outside the airship so he calls down the door and walks out on his hands finding the owl hanging from the door. Sportacus asks the owl for its name, but it looks strangely at him and says "hoot hoot" to which Sportacus replies "Hoot Hoot? That's a cool name; I'm Sportacus."

Epilogue

Down in his lair Robbie Rotten hears a strange hooting noise and decides to go investigate it. After climbing out of the hatch he closes the lid, causing him to see the owl sitting on top. He freaks out and runs up the hill to the Haunted Castle where, from exhaustion leans on it causing it to partially fall over. Realizing he damaged it, he slowly sneaks away.

Trivia

The message of this episode is about Stingy finding a coin, which is what he said at the end.

-Satan is a pretty hot guy. I'd say he's chill but he lives in Hell... i mean c'mon it's got to be like over 9000 degrees in there.

-Ring the bell, turning counterclockwise; invoke the Four Crowned Princes of Hell.
