Premise

Stephanie, Stingy and Ziggy are having their first campout, but Ziggy is a little scared... in fact, more than a little. He’s afraid there are “dinosaurs” lurking in the darkness. When Robbie Rotten shows up in a dinosaur disguise, things really go crazy, and Ziggy must overcome his fear to rescue his friends and help Sportacus save the day.

Trivia

  • The episode's title is a reference to Robby Rotten and how his schemes always backfire.
    • Robby's scheme is to make Sportacus into a cry baby.
    • Robby is the dinosaur.
    • Thus the backfired scheme makes Robby into a Cry Dinosaur.
  • Sportacus crystal beeped when the children were scared by the mayor, even though they weren't in real danger.
  • Dressed as a big purple dinosaur searching for Sportacus, Robby Rotten says, "I just wanna give you a hug!" This is a veiled parody to Barney.
  • Blooper: Towards the end of the episode, when Stephanie hugs Sportacus after being saved, her pink wig briefly gets stuck in his crystal.
  • Frustrated by the stuck dinosaur head, Robbie Rotten uses the words "Bing Bang" in place of curse words.
