Julianna Rose Mauriello

Julianna Rose Mauriello was born in Irvington, New York, on May 26th, 1991. She has brown hair, brown eyes, and is about 4'9, almost five feet tall.In her earlier years, she was cast as an extra in 'The Nutcracker,' as a child sleeping under a Christmas tree. Somewhere along the line, Julianna caught the acting bug, and began acting professionally at 10 years of age. Julianna has been in a few Broadway musicals, such as Oklahoma! Gypsy, and A Tree Grows In Brooklyn. When Julianna was either 12 or 13, she was cast as Stephanie on Lazy Town, created by and starring Magnús Scheving. During that time, Julianna was given a poodle for her 13th birthday by Magnús and the rest of the Lazy Town cast and crew. Julianna named the dog Audrey Hepburn, after her favorite actress. Julianna took her dog home with her when she left Iceland to go back to the United States after she finished Season 2 of Lazy Town.

Julianna loves to sing, dance, and of course, hang out with her friends. Julianna has starred in a short movie called A Fix released in 2008. Julianna has also appeared as herself in an educational video for kids called Hip Hop Homeroom. Julianna had also been in several commercials, such as advertisements for Volvo, and Wendy's. She has also done voice overs for radio commercials in the past. Julianna has admitted to being a purse-o-holic, since she has at least over 60 different types of purses and handbags. She is also a fan of The Simpsons. One of Julianna's favorite things to do in her spare time is read; she also has mentioned in an interview with Nick Jr. that she has a love for sweets. Julianna is Irish on her mother's side of the family, and Italian on her father's side of the family. She currently lives in New York City.
