Chloe Lang (born November 14, 2001) is a successful competition dancer. She’s danced in a local studio since the wobbly age of 2, Now, at 12, Chloe Lang is taking her talents to Iceland and a TV production set. For Chloe, a fifth-grader at Walsh Intermediate School, the process of securing the role as the main character in a television show included a series of auditions in New York, waiting, contract negotiations and more waiting. Signed to a contract, Chloe a few days later was packing to jet off to Iceland with her mother, Tina, where she now plays the main character, Stephanie, in the show “LazyTown.” She has completed Season Three and filming for Season Four which airs in Fall, 2014.
Two days before she left, Chloe was at the Dance Connection in East Haven, among teachers and classmates. Chloe isn’t the first at Dance Connection to go on to bigger things. She’s among a group of alumni, including Christy Carlson Romano, from Disney’s “Even Stevens,” who have gone to Broadway and performed in different countries. Chloe already has been in commercials for Pillsbury Toaster Strudel, Baby Alive, Cablevision and Yale-New Haven Hospital.
