			In [[Afram Latibaer]], Pósturinn’s appearance is close to the typical cartoon postman – he wears a bright blue suit with a tie and a shoulder strapped red postbag with the word Póstur written in large, yellow letters. His most distinctive feature is his hat, which is very large and puffy. Like most of the cast, he has obvious red blush on his cheeks and prominent blue and white eye liner.<br>
			In [[Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ]], Pósturinn gets an updated outfit which was also used for his puppet design. He now sports a fancier suit and hat, which are both navy blue with distinct red trimmings and large gold buttons. He also has a handlebar moustache and curly hair, although neither of these features are present on the puppet version, which is clean shaven and bald.

			In Afram Latibaer, Pósturinn is depicted as very lazy and incompetent. He lies down and tries to fall asleep in the middle of his delivery round, making the mayor collect his post from the bag for him. He also slacks off work in order to catch infomercials on television, which he deems important. He shows great disinterest in the sports competition, scoffing at and walking out on the [[Mayor Meanswell\|Mayor]] when he brings it up. In Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ, Póstur’s lifestyle seems to have improved, as he can now successfully deliver post on his own without collapsing from exhaustion. However, he immediately takes up [[Robbie Rotten\|Glanni’s]] offer of delivering the newspapers on his behalf without question for a day off, suggesting that his lazy attitude hasn’t improved that much.
